COC HISTORY
From its earliest beginnings Christian Outreach Centre has been concerned with winning people to Christ. Founded in Brisbane in 1974, Christian Outreach Centre has witnessed the grace of God in growth. From a small meeting of 25 people to a movement of more than 1000 churches across 35 nations worldwide.
At Citipointe Church each day, more than 2000 people work, worship, study or play, ranging from kindergarten to retirement. With it's fast growing congregation, vibrant worship, dynamic preaching, excellent pastoral care and rich community life, the Centre offers unlimited scope for training. Set in over 90 acres of native Australian bush land, the complex offers an ideal environment of tranquility and beauty, just 6km from the heart of the city. Local shopping centres, banks, cinema complexes and most other modern conveniences are within easy reach, including access to major north and south bound expressways and beautiful coastal regions.
Being a part of a large thriving local church helps keep the cutting edge to our studies. Whether in the lecture room, fieldwork or the real world, we are more concerned with challenging your development than just teaching subjects.

Citipointe COC is an active church that undertakes a large number of ministry & support programs both within the church and throughout the community. These include: - CitiKidz - programs for children from creche to teens
