The Diploma of Ministry Studies degree is awarded by Christian Heritage College, and is accredited by the Queensland Minister for Education who, in accordance with the Higher Education (General Provisions) Act 1993, is the accrediting authority for higher education courses offered outside of universities in Queensland.
This accreditation is recognised nationally and internationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework
This degree program requires students to complete 8 units of study each carrying 10 credit points. The normal full time study load is four units of study per semester.
This program provides opportunity for people to prepare for ministry.
The course is structured around three fields of study
Field A Biblical Studies
Field B Theology and Church History
Field C Ministry and Mission
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Satisfactory completion of year 12 or equivalent.
Students will be expected to show, through their documentation, that they possess an adequate foundation for higher education in terms of mastery of basic skills in areas such as comprehension, reasoning, and communication.
Appplicants will also need a Queensland Suitability (Blue) Card.
It is also possible to enrol in units on a non-credit (audit) basis.

TRANSFER OF CREDIT
Applicants who have completed previous tertiary study in relevant areas may apply for transfer of credit towards the Diploma of Practical Ministry.
