Pregnant and Baby at Last
August 11, 2009 on 11:22 amLast year I put in a Prayer Request and we prayed for my nephew and his wife to fall pregnant. She had been very ill and had been unable to fall pregnant after many years. Just recently she gave birth to a healthy little boy. Thanks Jesus and for this praying church.
Cyst on Ovary Disappears
August 11, 2009 on 11:21 amPraise God. I have been healed. I put in a Prayer Request and was prayed for after a service 3 weeks ago as I had a cyst on my ovary. I went back to my doctor last week and had a further ultra sound and the cyst has completely disappeared. Thanks for praying church.
Engaging Your World
August 11, 2009 on 11:18 amOne of the guys in the church has been talking to a work colleague about church and God over the past month and so decided to give him a copy of our Devoted Album. He couldn’t believe that it was a church album. This simple act has opened has opened his heart and has provided a great platform to discuss the things of God. That is Engaging your World!!
Hearing Restored
August 11, 2009 on 11:17 amGod is good. I put in a prayer request a few weeks ago for my friends little girl who had beaten cancer but the chemo had damaged her hearing and it was getting progressively worse. I texted my friend that Sunday just to let her know that I put a Prayer Request in for her daughters hearing to be restored. On the Monday the little girl had a doctor’s appointment unrelated to her hearing but her Mother asked the doctor if he could also check her hearing. Each time previously her hearing had been getting progressively worse, but not this time!! Her hearing had improved dramatically. The doctor stated that it had improved to the point where it would no longer affect her speech. Thank you Jesus.
Don’t Wait to Serve Your World - Do it Now
August 11, 2009 on 11:15 amA couple of weeks one of our Pastors was in the Citipointe West car park, and a car pulled up beside him. One of our church members came out of the car and so I asked what he was up too. He told me that he had just come back from the day care centre that we worked on a couple of weeks ago for ‘Yes We Care’. He said that he had just built them a retainer wall to stop the water flooding in one of the rooms and he fixed a wall around the kids play area. Our church member didn’t ask for permission, wait for a Working Bee or ask for payment, he went and served the world.
Cleaned the House of God
August 11, 2009 on 11:13 amTwo weekends ago the Citipointe West Church was vandalized and graffiti was across the front of the facility. One of our church members drove past early Saturday morning and saw the graffiti. Without permission from leadership this man demonstrated initiative and ownership; he went home picked up some cleaning materials and cleaned off all the graffiti by himself so that the House of God looked fantastic for Sunday morning: Now that’s Serving the Church and loving the House!! Thank you church for loving His House.
Wage Increase Out of the Blue
August 11, 2009 on 11:12 amThank you Jesus. At the Breakthrough Offering a couple of weeks ago I sowed simply because I love my church and to be involved in the work that we do as a church. During the next week totally out of the blue I was given a substantial wage increase by my employer. Praise God.
Successful Lung Transplant - Praise God!
August 11, 2009 on 11:11 amThank you for praying Citipointe. I put in a prayer request for a 17 year old friend whose lung was so badly damaged that she required a lung transplant. The transplant has been a total success and the lung received is so compatible that she has not needed to take the normal amount of anti rejection medication. Praise God.
Greatful to Citipointe
August 11, 2009 on 11:08 amI have been really blessed at Citipointe since I started coming here 3 months ago. I was attending another church I felt was good, however, I ended up in poverty and lack. As such my marriage broke down and I have lost my family, seeing my kids rarely. However, God has been really been speaking to me through the preaching. Quite literally I think Citipointe has saved my life and I am greatly thankful for this great church and the team at Citipointe.
Family Acknowledges That Prayer Really Works
August 11, 2009 on 11:06 amPraise God that He hears and answers our prayers! As a church we prayed for a friend who had bleeding on the brain after a fall and also problems with his heart. He has just left hospital and the Doctors and everyone are amazed at his recovery. His family and friends are acknowledging that prayer works.

Citipointe Church has not verified the testimonies above and has simply reported these accounts in good faith. Citipointe church believes and prays to God for miracles, healing and various other needs of people every Sunday with tremendous results. However, the church is also aware that at times God in His supreme wisdom either delays answers to prayers or at other times simply says His “grace is sufficient” for us as in the case of the apostle Paul’s prayer. The church can never promise that a prayer will be answered, but trusts that God in His wisdom will answer prayer in the best way as He sees fit.
